Operated by the Ambassador Theatre Group, the flexible, multi-purpose Arena boasts up to 200 performances a year across music, comedy, theatre and e-sports plus conferences and events and is conveniently located just under 10 minutes from us here at The Grand Hotel, Swansea.

The Arena sits as the crowning jewel within a 1.1-acre coastal park, the first new city centre park since the Victorian era and surrounded by new independent restaurants, apartments, two new multi-storey car parks and a landmark gateway bridge spanning Oystermouth Road, seamlessly connecting the city centre to Swansea’s Marina, the beach and the region’s famed coastal path.

The focal point of the Arena, the Auditorium is purpose-built with functionality and comfort in mind throughout, allowing the arena to host some of the world’s top acts in music and comedy, as well as world-class theatre productions, conferencing and exhibitions. At full capacity, the arena can host 3,500 with a mixture of standing and seating in Stalls and Circle. For smaller capacity, or fully seated shows, retractable seating can be employed to ensure that each show or event is laid out in such a way that you’re always in the heart of the action.
